Kim McKenzie is the Director of M & M Learning Academy, a multifaceted entrepreneur who is CCLC-56437, CDA, health & safety certified, has 50 hr Director training, and is certified to administer medicine & transport children. She has over 30 years of childcare experience and was nominated childcare of the year in NYC in 2015.

Kim was Born and raised in the impoverished inner-city neighborhood of Far Rockaway, Queens, New York. Her passion for childcare blossomed from her mom, Mable, who started caring for her grandchildren because the childcare costs were too high. The business expanded throughout the entire Far Rockaway, Queens community.

Their exceptional love, care, and safety for children earned them trust and respect. Parents could focus on their jobs weekly, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Mable and Kim always gave back to their community, including turkey for Thanksgiving, coat & book bag drives, and hiring over 20 people. They shared with the staff how to become entrepreneurs, once being co-owners of 7 daycares throughout Queens. They nurtured& trained the owners until they could sustain their businesses independently.

In the summer of 2017, Kim endured the heart-wrenching loss of her mother and decided to start a new life- she expanded to Georgia and began blessing Georgians with her expertise.

In the summer of 2022, after mastering Georgia’s stringent guidelines, Kim opened her first daycare in Riverdale, GA.

Today, her mission centers around blessing families with 24-hour care and fulfilling God’s purpose by positively impacting her new community one child, one family at a time.
